This is an exciting role for an ambitious individual who is interested in starting a career in SEO.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of our SEO Team, you’ll assist in the delivery of our best practice SEO strategies (mostly off-page) to maximize Vortala clients’ online authority. This, in turn, produces “new patient traffic” from various online channels including search engines, directories and social media sites.

Reporting to the Team Leader SEO, your duties will include:

  • Emailing and/or speaking directly with the clients to coordinate verification assistance of online business directory listings
  • Publishing blog posts on behalf of new clients
  • Setting up new clients in various SEO platforms and tools (i.e. Google Search Console, BrightLocal, etc.)
  • Applying social media branding and social media administrator set-up
  • Handling other basic SEO cases such as: adding users to Google accounts; office hour updates; plan upgrades, downgrades and cancellations; and SEO reporting updates
  • SEO related projects and tasks as directed

HOW TO SECURE AN INTERVIEW

To be invited for an interview, you should possess the following skills and experience:

    • Familiarity with current local SEO best practices
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision to successfully complete tasks and assignments
    • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy when setting up reports, directory listings, etc.
    • Sound judgment to recognize situations that warrant escalation within the SEO Team

This is an entry level, full-time position with family-friendly hours. Although there is flexibility on the work schedule, you would need to work the majority of your day during normal business hours 9AM-6PM EDT (UTC-5/UTC-4).

You’ll work from the comfort of your home office and connect with your colleagues worldwide using the most advanced online collaboration tools.

You will travel 1-2 times per year for training and planning with the SEO team.
