ABOUT THE ROLE
Vortala is seeking an experienced PPC Team Leader to lead and develop a team of Paid Traffic Specialists while driving the strategy and performance of our paid advertising services.
Our clients are primarily chiropractic and dental practices with a straightforward goal: generate more new patients. This role is accountable for ensuring paid advertising delivers measurable lead generation and ROI for those clients.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The majority of time (~70%) is spent overseeing and optimizing campaigns directly, with the remaining focus on mentoring the team, refining processes, and elevating overall service quality.
Beyond day-to-day management, this role carries real strategic weight. You’ll have a strong voice in shaping Vortala’s paid advertising direction including refining our Google and Meta offerings, improving how we operate, and identifying opportunities to expand into new platforms and services.
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, collaborates well, and makes the team around them better.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign Management & Optimization
You’ll maintain direct hands-on involvement across client campaigns while setting the performance standard for the team.
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
- Set up and launch campaigns for new clients, including keyword research, audience targeting, ad creation, and landing page guidance
- Optimize campaigns through testing of keywords, ad copy, targeting, and landing pages
- Manage bidding strategies and budgets to maximize lead generation and ROI
- Analyze campaign performance data and identify optimization opportunities
- Ensure strong conversion tracking and reporting across campaigns
Team Leadership
You’ll be responsible for the output and growth of the PPC team.
- Lead and mentor a team of Paid Traffic Specialists
- Provide strategic guidance on campaign optimization and troubleshooting
- Review campaign setups and performance to ensure best practices are followed
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of PPC team members
- Establish quality guidelines and consistently monitor the team’s work
Cross-Team Collaboration
This role works across multiple internal teams and occasionally touches client-facing work.
- Work closely with SEO, design, and content teams to ensure integrated digital marketing strategies
- Support client-facing account managers by answering campaign questions and occasionally assisting on client calls
- Provide feedback during pre-sale reviews to determine whether prospective clients are suitable for PPC services
Process Improvement & Service Development
You’ll have real input into how Vortala’s paid advertising services evolve.
- Develop and maintain PPC processes and documentation to improve efficiency and consistency
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign setup, tracking, and reporting, and collaborate with leadership to implement improvements
- Evaluate and help expand Vortala’s paid advertising offerings into additional platforms such as Microsoft Ads, Local Service Ads, and emerging AI-driven advertising platforms
What Success Looks Like
- Within 90 days: You have a clear picture of all active campaigns, have identified quick wins, and the team feels supported and directed
- Within 6 months: Campaign performance and reporting consistency have measurably improved, and key process gaps are being addressed
- Within 12 months: The team is operating to a higher standard, Vortala’s paid advertising offering is stronger, and you’re actively contributing to its strategic direction
Who You Are
- You lead with a collaborative, respectful mindset and model professionalism in all interactions
- You see leadership as mentorship — your instinct is to help people grow, not just delegate
- You take ownership of problems and work constructively to solve them
- You communicate performance and ideas clearly to the people around you
- You create an environment where experimentation and improvement are the norm
