As a member of our SEO Team, you’ll deliver our best practice on-and-off-page SEO strategies to maximize Vortala’s online authority. This, in turn, produces “new patient traffic” from various online channels including search engines, directories and social media sites.

Reporting to the Team Leader SEO, your duties will include:

  • Website audits, including keyword research, analytics interpretation, competitive analysis and backlink evaluation (or the willingness to learn these techniques).
  • Effective collaboration with Client Service team members and clients to communicate and implement SEO strategies and efforts.
  • Quality assurance checks of new websites to ensure sites have been created using SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshoot under-performing websites to identify areas of opportunity and creating plans to address those areas.
  • Occasionally liaise with Client Service team members on client conference calls to resolve SEO issues and challenges.
  • Perform SEO tasks and ad hoc projects to maintain department service objectives.

To secure an interview, you should possess the following:

  • Knowledge of advanced and current local SEO techniques/skills
  • Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision to successfully complete cases and assignments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively convey SEO concepts and recommendations to clients and internal colleagues
  • Sound decision making ability, judgment and analytical skills
  • Experience in online marketing and social media is a definite plus

This is a full-time position. Although there is flexibility on the work schedule, you would need to work the majority of your day during normal business hours 9AM-6PM AWST (UTC+8). And, as everything we do is online, you can work remotely from the convenience of your own home office. You will travel 1 – 2 times per year for training and planning with the SEO team.
